I am a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique and Complimentary and Natural Health Care Council.
After studying French and Art History in Paris and an internship at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, my career has been spent working in museums. I organised collection loans from the Tate Gallery, and then coordinated the practical arrangements for exhibitions at Tate Modern and latterly at The National Gallery, London.
I had my first Alexander Technique lesson in 1994 and completely won over by it continued to have lessons ever since. Over the years I have had lessons with some of the doyens including Walter Carrington in 1995. In 2014 I decided to study to be a teacher and I graduated in 2016. I hope my long gestation period and intensive final 3 year training will bring a richness and freshness to lessons I can now offer.
